Laparoscopy is a a commonly used minimally invasive surgical technique. It utilizes small incisions in the abdomen, through which a laparoscope—a thin instrument with a lens—is placed to show the internal organs. Surgical instruments are also inserted through these incisions, allowing the surgeon to perform a variety of procedures with greater
